If your business feels a little stuck right now, you’re not alone.

The good news? You don’t need a complete overhaul—you might just need a small shift in perspective or action. Here are four practical ways to pivot and regain your momentum.

  • Do Nothing (Wait, What?)

I know—this sounds completely counterintuitive. You came here looking for something to do, not to sit still. But hear me out. It’s possible you’re already on the right path and just being a little impatient. Take a look at your last 90 days. Are your profits quietly increasing? Have you been growing and just haven’t noticed? Before making any major changes, pause and reflect. Know where you are, what’s working, and what’s not. Sometimes the best move is to give your current efforts time to compound. “Doing nothing” might be the smartest move you make.

  • Go Up Market or Down Market

Now, if you’re ready for action, this one’s a solid next step: re-evaluate your market position. Do you have a premium product—or could you create one—that could command a higher price? Maybe it’s time to offer more of that and focus on serving an up market willing to pay for high value. On the flip side, is there a low-cost, high-love product or service in your lineup? Something people rave about that’s affordable and scalable? Leaning into that and serving a wider base in the down market could be your next growth move. Being stuck in the middle—offering neither premium nor high-volume—is a tough place to thrive. Pick a lane.

  • Digitize One Product

There’s a good chance you’re sitting on a digital product goldmine and don’t even know it. Think about something you do consistently that clients love. For example, if you create social media content and your clients go nuts over your monthly content calendar—why not pull that out and offer it as a stand-alone subscription? It could be $15, $50, or even $100 a month, and boom—you’ve got a new revenue stream. Most of us already have the ideas, frameworks, or templates we could sell digitally. You just have to package it and put it on the shelf.

  • Reconnect with Your Dream

This one’s personal—and powerful. Take yourself out for coffee (seriously, sit down somewhere quiet) and ask: Am I doing what I dreamed of doing? Listen for any whispers from your intuition. Is there a part of your original vision that you’ve lost sight of? Or a new angle on what you already do that excites you again? Sometimes, the pivot we need isn’t about strategy—it’s about soul. Reconnecting with your dream could bring fresh energy to everything.

Feeling Stuck in Business? Here Are 4 Simple Ways to Pivot and Get Moving Again

So, to recap—four ways to pivot when your business feels stuck:

  • Do nothing (you might just need patience)

  • Go up or down market (reposition for profitability)

  • Create a digital product (use what you’ve already got)

  • Get back in touch with your dream (your heart still has something to say)

Before you burn it all down or chase the next big thing, try one of these smaller, smarter shifts. 2025 could be the year you finally move from stuck to unstoppable.
